[Good News] SHENLING’s Innovation in Metro Environment Control Wins the Second Prize of the 2016 National Technological Invention Award

The National Technological Invention Award Conference 2016, held in the Great Hall of the People on January 9, 2017, honored outstanding scientists who had made major breakthroughs in the frontiers of contemporary science and technology, or created huge economic or social benefits in scientific and technological innovation and transformation of such achievements.
The project of “Key Technological Innovation and Application for Metro Environment Protection and High Efficiency and Energy Conservation”, mainly completed by the general manager Pan Zhanhua, won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award. This was the second time that Shenling had received this honor. The company had also obtained the second prize of the 2012 National Technological Invention Award.
Technological Breakthrough
It is reported that the HVAC project has innovatively developed a series of key technologies for metro air environment protection and high efficiency and energy conservation:
(1) The integration technology of ventilation and air conditioning multi-functional equipment for metro environment protection invented has solved the problems regarding the traditional metro environment control system, such as disharmonious environment, high energy consumption, large floor space and tedious operation control;
(2) Based on the innovation of key technologies, the series of metro environment control products with independent intellectual property rights have been developed and industrialized production has been realized.
Project Value
The metro is an important way to tackle urban traffic problems, and the metro environment control system is a life security line project. Aiming at high energy consumption, the occupation of large land and the complex form of the environment control system that have long plagued the construction and operation of the metro project, the project has developed new technologies, design methods and technical equipment of the metro environment control series with more than ten years of hard work. Besides, it has obtained a number of international advanced major theoretical and technological achievements with China’s independent intellectual property rights, gained 14 national invention patents and more than 20 utility models and software copyrights, developed a series of products with independent intellectual property rights and compiled numerous national and industrial norms and standards. Having been widely promoted and applied in the construction of metro projects in major cities across the country, the project results have made great contributions to the implementation of the localization strategy of urban rail transit and equipment manufacturing in China, and the realization of the metro environment protection, energy conservation and emission reduction, and promoted the technological progress of the metro environment control industry. They have broad application prospect and high promotion value.
